Empty Times - Empty Space at Faber Andorra– The Collaborations
As mentioned before the residence project is dealing with the concepts of Empty Times – Empty Spaces.
Just before the project started opportunities arose to collaborate with three local artists simultaneously. The concept was therefore adapted, and the project was divided into several parts. It now consists of various collaborative works.
But instead of forming a group of four, I collaborated with each artist individually on a work for the project. Therefore, three different works were created.
An audiovisual (sound/video) project called "Circadian Silence" in collaboration with the scientist and visual artist Nathalie Launay. This project with her was particularly important to me, as we learned from each other and began to rethink our artistic concepts and visions.
The other two collaborative projects were a visualized poem (video poem) titled "El pes i el buit del temps" in collaboration with the poet Fabiola Sofia Masegosa.
The third project was a performance titled "Space between empty and full," created in collaboration with the visual artist Emma Regada, which explored the concepts of emptiness and fullness using water as the main medium.
As a result, the entire project and the concepts of "Empty Times - Empty Space" gained a broader meaning and interpretation, both in intellectual and artistic terms.
