I'm participating in the third edition of ManiVesta, themed "Gold," in the Dutch city of Gorinchem. The two-day art event has become a biennial highlight in the city, where art, cultural heritage, and society merge in a unique way. Exhibitions and performances will take place at 35 venues throughout the city, including museums, churches, galleries, shops, cafes, private homes, and public spaces. I'm exhibiting with Dutch artist Anna Marie Van Thiel de Vries at the Lutherse Schuilkerk (Location 24). I'm presenting a selection of small-format works on paper and canvas. This is somewhat unusual, as I haven't shown this type of work for many years, but have hidden it away.

As already mentioned, in this exhibition I present a selection of my works on paper and canvas, as well as my graphic works. Since my work is interdisciplinary and multimedia, the paintings and prints reflect only a small part of my entire oeuvre. The works on paper are a type of collage and mixed media using acrylic paint, chalk pencils, pigments, sometimes sand, and various papers from Nepal and Japan on sturdy Fabriano or Canson paper. Since this year's theme is gold, all works incorporate shades of gold.
