The Ashes of Eden Project deals with the social and cultural environment of Upper Lusatia in the Eastern part of Germany after reunification through dance. The artist talk was not only about my career, but also contained my own critical views about my own work, visions and today's art scene

About the piece

The work focuses on an unseen but real situation. The theme and sounds are based and relate to the voices and sounds I've been hearing in my head almost constantly for many years. Caused by medical and mental issues. It's a simple attempt of a field trip into my head and to approach sound and noise from another level and place.

Evolving out of The Hibernation Project, Ears Have Eyes is an auditory exhibition space for sound art on the radio. Every month, artists and musicians respond to a theme, making new compositions or sharing existing works. Offering a spaces to exhibit sound-specific contemporary art, local, national, and international artists are invited to share their creations. Ears Have Eyes asks: what can the invisibility of sound illuminate? How does the intimacy of listening open our eyes to ideas we might otherwise overlook? What can sonorous spaces hold that physical spaces cannot? How do we look with our ears, and listen with our eyes?

IMAF 2022 Festival Life Performance Part

IMAF 2022 International Multi Art Festival 09.09-11.09.2022 Odzaci and Novi Sad, Serbia.

On 9 September I performed an “ improvised performance” in an old abandoned motel in Odzaci, Serbia.I had planned first to perform my performance Dialogue which is based on a totally different concept. However when I saw the building for the first time in the morning I changed my idea and concept for my performance in the afternoon. For two reasons first the opportunities the building offers, the second was the performance I had planned would be very difficult to present in this building. Finally I decided to go into a dialogue with the building were creating sound and noise would play a very important role.

Sunday the 11th of September 2022 I performed my second performance at the SULUV Gallery,(Union of Associations of Fine Artists of Vojvodina) Novi Sad, Serbia. The concept of my second performance was based on the concept of a dialogue that comes to nothing and failed The performance was accompanied by alienated sound elements and fragments of dialogues.

LACUNA FESTIVAL 2022, Theme 2022 : “CLASH”

LACUNA FESTIVAL 2022 , (international contemporary art festival), Lanzarote, Spain, Theme 2022 : “CLASH”, 02 – 29 July 2022

Various physical venues and virtual events. Sala El Aljibe in Haria and Casa de la Cultura Benito Armas Perez in Yaiza, Lanzarote, Spain

I wanted to approach the theme "Clash" from a different view. in a more quiet, hidden and introvert manner. Therefore I choose a very metaphoric style and to reflect and express the subject through objects we use and see daily... chairs. The chairs are placed in a situation which can be consider as a clash, no dialogue, to confronting each other.

“Do not go out the window” online exhibition represents international artists and their works with a sharp political, and social message. Like ray of lights, artworks help us look at ourselves, at our problems, problems with which we don’t have to accept. They help us to remember serious political, economic, social, and environmental problems. Remember that it’s not the norm, and we must continue to stand up for our values and ideals.

The following works of mine are presented Photography works : "I can not see " & "Inside-Outside" Video Work “the glass between”

These two years have brought out the best and worst in ourselves and the others. Urban Pandemic presents sound and audiovisual works that do not define right and wrong but echo the peace and fear; the calmness and confusion we have been experiencing during those years

Acoustic Interiors

Between January 17th and 21st, 2022, I took part in the Acoustic Interiors project that was actually outside of the medium I work with...sound. Of course, when you work on video, it also affects the sound. But I've never really dealt with sound as an individual medium. This was partly due to my hearing loss. The project is based at two locations in the old building Royal Conservatoire and Amare the new culture center of The Hague. I focused on the old Royal Conservatoire building during January 2022 The initiator is NEW EMERGENCES and the curator is the sounds artist Mrs Anne Wellmer.

In the course of the year the project will be pursued further with events, among project presentations.
