"koud slova"With Meer and Kees de Vries. The video hints on the idea that the conversation in the video is untranslatable, and that it doesn’t matter if you can only understand half of it, or none. It’s about the interaction  itself. Words / Slova - don’t matter as much. That’s why you don’t even have to understand the word Word (Slova) itself. and that the meaning arises not as much from words themselves, as from some sort of “being “ and interacting with one another, penetrating each other with waves of sounds and actions and mentally swapping our bodies in order to understand each other...

VideoBardo is one of the most important archives in this genre internationally. based in Buenos Aires.

VideoBardo is an independent poetry and art collective. Its objective is the dissemination, research and theoretical debate on the language of Videopoesia. It organizes the International Video Poetry Festival VideoBardo and has performed in important museums and cultural centers both on the cultural circuit and independently in Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico, USA, Canada, Spain, France, Germany and India, establishing exchanges with other festivals.

EROS 24/7

 EROS 24/7

14th of October and 22nd of October 2021

Curator / Artistic Director Elias Kirsche (Basel, CH)

Between 14th of October and 22nd of October 2021 I participate at the Project Residence EROS 24/7 near the French/Swiss border by Basel, CH, in the village of Illtal, France

The aim of this project residency was that an interdisciplinary and mixed group of artists and non- artist should exploring for 8 days how erotic phenomena such as desire, seduction, lust, devotion, jealousy, play, death affect the inspiration and production of Art. Artistic means were one's own erogenous body, the written and spoken word, voice, movement, musical and visual techniques. What does erotic mean to us in its cultural-historical dimension? What role does the Eros play in the art, who, if one follows Plato and Socrates, mediates between the human and the divine world (cf. “Symposium”)? Using erotic art from different epochs and cultures, contemporary interpretations and implementations are to be proposed.

I created two personal projects in collaboration with Thomas Zollinger, Philemo Murkano, Elisabeth Schär, Tobias Gürtler and Mark Lüthi. As well I participated in several projects developed by the other participating artists.

Project No. 1 with  Thomas Zollinger, Philemo Murkano, Elisabeth Schär,

 Mini Salon

International Small Works Traveling Exhibition

32 artists from 11 countries

October 21 - December 31, 2021

HOF Gallery

5659 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Curators Gina Hartmann & Jamey Ponte

MINI SALON The only thing mini about this exhibition is the work. The vision was to be monumental in every other aspect. Though uniform in size each piece contains the spirit of the individual artist, but with a combined voice of a moment in time. Art soothes, persuades, perturbs, and above all persists. The incomparable years of 2020/21 inevitably influenced the artistic voice world wide.

In isolation one would assume a certain ignorance of the outside world, but it has been shown in the repressive or darkest of times there is a shared knowledge that seems to always permeate. This exhibition will serve as a time capsule of expression during a very significant time.

- Organized in partnership by NOW open studio & House of Friends, Kenya / US

In the exhibition are four small lino cut prints of mine are presented :

# social 2021

13 October - 31 October 2021

CICA Museum, Gimpo, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

My video work “koud slova” which was made in collaboration with Meer and Kees de Vries is shown at # social 2021

“#social 2021” is dealing with subject matters including socialization, social media, social distancing, social structure, and other social issues.

About the “koud slova”

The work suggests the idea that the conversation in the video is not translatable and that it doesn't matter if you can understand part of it or nothing at all. That the meaning of interaction and communication arises not so much from the words themselves, but from a kind of “being” and “doing” of the protagonists . The interaction happens with each other, through gestures, physical actions and the mental exchange of bodies in order to understand each other ..

Kunstinitiative Im Friese - artist residence July-September 2021

Since 7th of July until 30th September 2021 my temporary working location is in the province. In a small town called Schirgiswalde-Kirschau. Located in the federal state of Saxony, Germany . Around 65 km from Dresden and 11 km from Bautzen. What is the purpose to be there. It is a three month funded artist residency. However the projects I had in mind for to create during the residence begann quite arduous.

Not every project I would liked to developed and to work on was possible to start there. For several video and photography projects (with Alex Mars / Anna Grabowska) I had to go once to Berlin and once to Dresden (with Anne Rosenbaum). In the time between of these projects I started to work on a lino cut series at my location. However I only will be able to print this series at the Grafikwerkstatt in Dresden. Finally in the last half of August I was now able to create directly in collaboration on the spot a Screen Dance and Performance Video project with the local female dancer Jana Schmück (Bautzen), director and founder of tanzART

Fri, August 27, 2021 – Sun, August 29, 2021

Venue : Shiano Hall, Lake Kizaki, Omachi City, Nagano Prefecture. Japan

Organizer NPO Primitive Sense Company, Co-sponsored Nishimaru Seiya Memorial Museum

Curators : Art director Nobuyuki Sugihari Program directorTaeko MoriPrimitive Sense

This year’s primitive sense art festival has the theme of “The Fleeting Moment of Water.” It is an attempt to see what kind of festival is needed under the current situation.

When people straightly face to the nature, primitive sense will return to our feeling. we think fine art is born at that moment. “Nature” is not only at outside of us, contains the life of ourselves, inherited from the origin of life. It is to create a festival as a cultural boundary that connects the outside and the locals, connects art and tradition, and cities and regions.

My work “Constanly Floating and So Rising” will be screened on 27th of August at Shiano Hall

An unnoticed Art Festival

Selection photos Nico (morning)

Selection photos Ineke (evening)

2nd Nieuwstraat Festival, Dordrecht, Netherlands

The festival took placed on 19th of June 2021.The date is not announced to the public, neither to the artists who created the performances concepts. This non-announcement belongs to the festival concept.

The Nieuwstraat Festival fits in a series of Unnoticed Art Festivals. It balances on the line between public and private. It shows artworks hiding in normality. The language, used to express the works, fits in the average social behavior in public space and, because of that, remained unnoticed to bystanders. Passers-by will observe the actions, but may not recognize them as performance art.Creating the concepts and executing the works are split. Artists send their concepts more or less as manuals. The chosen works are carried out by a group of (both experienced and inexperienced) volunteers.

My Performance Concept for volunteers

To document by photographic means objects lying on the ground in Nieuwstraat. The objects should not be permanently attached or fixed to the street level.

The objects which should be looked for includes everything what is movable. Among others dead inspects, dead birds, paper, plastic pieces, metal objects, feathers, leaf's, lose stones, broken glass, cigarettes stubs, garbage, mouth masks, blood stains and grease stains. Regardless how big or how small.

7th International Biennial of Performance, - "Emancipation"

7th International Biennial of Performance, - "Emancipation"

30 January - 8 March 2021

My two videos "bare to you and me" and "conecta-no conecta " was shown in the 7th International Biennial of Performance, on the 30 and 31 of January 2021 at Sala E, Cinemateca Bogota, Bogota, Colombia.

Both videos were also presented on 2nd and 10th of February on the website of PerfoArtNet

Art has shown that it allows to liberate, point out, question, criticize and transform beings, minds and contexts, for this reason the VII Biennial is a space where art, body and thought. They reflect on emancipation; which is the act of liberating or freeing oneself from a person, circumstance, rule or control system. So we invite you to peacefully emancipate yourself with artistic-bodily events that make it easier for us to reflect on what is happening in our social environment. The use of the body and art are fundamental in the claim of many rights, it seems that the world is sick and we need to heal it with small and large actions.

Time quarantined // curated by Wilfried Agricola de Cologne

In these times of the pandemic many people become aware of the restrictions of the “usual”. Those things which were taken for granted before receive suddenly an unusual status. Time seems to be paralyzed, set in quarantine – or is it just a paradigm shift?

The program of the selected videos is a composition of different aspects of time in all their contradictions according to an artistic view manifested in 13 art videos:
