The aim of this 10-day residency is to create artworks that explore the nude human body in context of nature, culture and art. For the duration of the residency, the artists creating works that explore questions such as: What is nudity? Does stripping away clothing rid us of class, gender, and personal expression?; Do the connections between our bodies and the land change when nude? Is nudity always sexual? What is the role of the nude in historical and contemporary art?. Is it possible to be civil in the nude?; Is there a natural state for human being? Residents work individually or collaboratively to create artworks that explore these questions through media of their choice, such as photography, video, installation, drawing, painting, performance art, dance, sound art, media art, etc.
I am one of the artist who take part in this residency, because the human body plays an important part in my work. Beside my collaboration project Unfolding-Unwrapped which I hope to conduct during the residency, at the same I focus on a individually project, I tried out already some short video and video performances sequences. At this stage everything is experimental, but to be selfcritical I am not very convienced and not very satisfied at this stage of the residence

We performed twice that evening variant 1 and the variant 2 of Unfolding-Unwrapped in one flow.
But just like all previous performances , the performance is never the same, even the concept and principles stay the same. Each time differenent interpretations by the participants and adapted to the local environment

Program 5: vDance: poses, movements and short narratives. Curated by Margarita Stavraki
A video selection where poses and movements turn to dance and poetry. The dance is sometimes physical and other times a result of the processing of moving image. The surrounding space is sometimes real, defined and it stimulates the dance, and other times it is digital and neutral, in order to make us concentrate absolutely on the motion of the bodies. Dance, movement and pose are a primordial need of man, which is involved in the digital age.

HOPE IS MAYBE is an art project on the diversity of hope. Hope is hardly to be defined. What do we HOPE for? Does HOPE depend on the country of origin? Our language? Our education? Our faith? Our personal emotions? HOPE IS MAYBE. Michael Härteis at Kunst verorten has initiated this art project in collaboration with Jesuit Refugee Service in Munich. Based on interviews with asylum seekers, Michael Härteis has collected prominent statements that center around these questions. In a second step, artists were asked to choose a citation from a list, reflect on it, and create or
share an artwork. An international jury selected 75 works of art to become part of the exhibition here at the airport of Munich. HOPE IS MAYBE will be growing and changing with each new artwork and further interviews, demonstrating its fluency of interpretations. “We would like to encourage people to reflect on hope, their personal and on those of others, like refugees and asylum seekers”, states Brother Dieter Müller SJ, member of the selection jury.

Visible Poetry Project - (USA)
April 1st, 2018 - April 30th, 2018 - National Poetry Month
The Visible Poetry Project (USA) was founded in 2017 with the goal of bringing together a collective of filmmakers to create a series of videos that present poems as short films. Drawing from works created by renowned poets, including Neil Gaiman and Tato Laviera, as well as emerging poets, the Visible Poetry Project strives to make poetry accessible, exploring how we can recreate and experience poems through the medium of film.
Throughout the month of April - National Poetry Month - VPP release one visual poem each day. An exercise in translation and a reclamation of both poetic and film discourses, the resulting thirty videos explore how we read, interpret, visualize, and hear poetry.
I choose a poem from the American poet Jennifer Tonge. Between December 2017 and March 2018 I am working on a video for to visualize the poem of her.
However I see the project as collaboration project and therefore I stand in regulary contact with Jennifer Tonge about the developed of the video
Երեւանը մարտ ամսին – Yerevan in March - Live Performance / Video / Photography
28th of March 2018, at Goethe Zentrum,
Mher Mkrtchyan 1, 0010 Yerevan
Photography exhibtion runs until 8th of April 2018
Yesterday evening at 18.30 was the opening of Երեւանը մարտ ամսին - Yerevan in March. The exhibition and presentation was opend by the German Ambassador Mr. Kiesler in Yerevan and the director of the Goethe Zentrum Mrs. Mikeladse-Bachsoliani.
With this project I tried something new out. Until now the performance pieces I did with other artists became everytime part of a performance video. This time I try to present and combine a live performance and a video at the same time.
The topic was a interpretation and reflection of the city of Yerevan. The video was how I see the the city through an eyes of a stranger. The live performance was a interpretation and reflection by five students of the Institute of Theater and Cinematography in Yerevan. How young citizens of Yerevan feel and think about their city. During the rehersals I interfered less as possible and gave the students the freedome to create their own ideas. Because I saw it as a intercultural collaboration project.
Even for most of the audience it was a new concept it is was at the end accepted and admired.
Thank you students of the Institute of Theater and Cinematography in Yerevan. You where a great team and it was a pleasure working with you on that project.
Social Sculpture Workshop Unfolding-Unwrapped in the classroom
Goethe-Zentrum, Yerevan, Armenia, March 2018
After a talk with the head of the langauge department and two teachers of the Goethe Zentrum in Yervan, I tried something new. The workshop became part of German langauge lessons. I adopted a shorter version in German of Unfolded-Unwrapped for to intregrate into the class room sessions. The experiment was carried out with three different groups of students. However it was not only for to conduct the workshop, but also for to explain more about the concept of Social Sculpture. That the term was first invented by Joseph Beuys and his ideas behind it. After the workshop the students discussed in German how they saw the workshop and concept
Finally for the students it was a complet new and different approached towards their use of langauge abiltities. As well to widen their knowledge about German culture from a different angle.
